We’ve been using VidCAD since 1995.  We used it to design our facility and facilities from many of our clients.  VidCAD
is superb software that is easy and intuitive to use.  It removes the “drafting” from creating schematics, allowing one to concentrate on the design.  And yet, the final result is something that any designer, installer, vendor, or client can understand and read.

The best part of VidCAD is the staff which continually upgrades the software and provides excellent support to users.  I highly recommend VidCAD.  It’s some of the best software I’ve ever used.

 I have been using VidCAD since 1985 and continue to use it even now.  The wiring diagrams, signal flow and 3D equipment rendition is used all the way from the studio to the transmitter site.  Audio, video and FR drawings make documentation and planning very simple.  VidCAD is not only just a wiring layout, it is a true documentation tool for the entire plant.  It is most helpful when troubleshooting or adding/changing equipment.  I don’t know of any other program that can come near the power, depth and simplicity of VidCAD.
